Being a magician by trade gives me the blessing of being able to travel and see and experience some of the greatest sites our incredible nation has to offer. While on the road, I try to take time to check out what the locals have to offer whenever I stop. That is how I stumbled accross Crossroads Village in Frankenmouth, Mi.
This historic setting begs that you grab the kids and jump on the huckleberry railrioad to middle America in the 1800′s. The staff is colorfully decorated in period garb and informative volunteers fill in the facts with tales of life on the rail and how the steel highway helped to shape our nation.
Frankenmouth is in central, MI there are many attractions in the surrounding area including a riverwalk and the worlds largest christmas store. Below is a fun clip from the choo choo at Huckleberry Railroad. If you are ever passing this way, gra the kids and climb aboard!

This is Frank Everhart. I’m signing off & I’ll see you back in Key West!
