The Key West Guys are your connection to the southernmost point in the continental United States. Master Magician Frank Everhart Jr. and Special Effects Expert John Jaworski are two long time island dwellers that gravitated to the island of Key West lik
e so many others that have a desire to live a little more free than most. Following the common theme dream of arriving on vacation and staying forever. Local, celebrated musician Michael McCloud summed it up best in a hit song to which Jimmy Buffett actually bought the rights. It’s called, “I just came down for the weekend (25 years ago)!”
With that caliber of island inspiration, John and Frank were ushered into Key West separately, but both were met with open arms. John stayed on the mainland to take care of a successful business, www.x-streamers.com, and Frank Everhart stayed on the island. Once he arrived, he was hooked! John would visit several times a year and had actually been coming to the island years before Frank ever left the mainland, Through a series of performances and interminglings with other entertainersi, John and Frank finally met. It was instant friendship between the two and it opened the door to a limitless supply of adventure and fun in Paradise.
Over the years Frank Everhart Jr. has written some of the islands most famous tours. He hast a vast wealth of knowledge on Key West her surrounding waters. Frank also holds court nightly at 9 o’clock at his World famous Magic Bar at the Schooner Wharf.
With John Jaworski coming down all of the time to help with special events like the Conch Republic Independence celebration it was only a matter of time for these two island geniuses to come up with an idea that was destined to go beyond any Grand Bar Scheme.
After a dazzling night of card tricks and laughter one balmy evening John and Frank stumbled across a way to share their adventures with the entire world! Everyone pretty much already thought of them as they Key West Guys. If you wanted to find something, The Key West Guys knew where it was. I have seen a great many videos through the years that detail the sacrifices of war. This is truely an instance where less is more. I think the two gentlemen in this video sum up the American spirit in an honorable way. God Bless you all and God Bless the USA!

Captain Tony turns 92

Jimmy Buffett was right. A legend never dies! Last Sunday Captain Tony Terracino celebrated his 92 Birthday and The Key West Guys were on hand to help with the celebration. It was a privilage, a thrill and a moment that this magician will remember for the rest of his life. There was cake and party favors, some amazing locals and, oh yeah, lots of girls!
The power went out for 30 minutes right before his grand entrance, but that didn’t seem to bother anybody. The party caried on! They were there to celebrate the life of a legend. The video below is some of the highlights from the event. Happy Birthday Captain Tony!

Air Margaritaville Live at ST. Clair Shores!

Wow! What a night of fantastic music! From the "Buffett"esque Frank Bama (Lead Singer) to the island rockin’ drums of Marty Kane; Air Margaritaville shook it up for about 5000 people at a summer concert this July in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Yours truely was not only one of the lucky attendies; but, being The Key West Magician, I got to introduce Air Margaritaville from the stage!

What's a Junkanoo?

Wikipedia defines a Junkanoo as: is a street parade with music, which occurs in many towns across The Bahamas every Boxing Day (December 26) and New Year’s Day. The largest Junkanoo parade happens in Nassau, the capital.
Junkanoo groups "rush" from midnight until shortly after dawn, to the music of cowbells, in costumes made from cardboard covered in tiny shreds of colourful crepe paper, competing for cash prizes.
