The Key West Guys are your connection to the southernmost point in the continental United States

The Key West Guys are your connection to the southernmost point in the continental United States. Master Magician Frank Everhart Jr. and Special Effects Expert John Jaworski are two long time island dwellers that gravitated to the island of Key West like so many others that have a desire to live a little more free than most. Following the common theme dream of arriving on vacation and staying forever. Local, celebrated musician Michael McCloud summed it up best in a hit song to which Jimmy Buffett actually bought the rights. It’s called, “I just came down for the weekend (25 years ago)!”

With that caliber of island inspiration, John and Frank were ushered into Key West separately, but both were met with open arms. John stayed on the mainland to take care of a successful business, www.x-streamers.com, and Frank Everhart stayed on the island. Once he arrived, he was hooked! John would visit several times a year and had actually been coming to the island years before Frank ever left the mainland, Through a series of performances and interminglings with other entertainersi, John and Frank finally met. It was instant friendship between the two and it opened the door to a limitless supply of adventure and fun in Paradise.

Over the years Frank Everhart Jr. has written some of the islands most famous tours. He hast a vast wealth of knowledge on Key West her surrounding waters. Frank also holds court nightly at 9 o’clock at his World famous Magic Bar at the Schooner Wharf.

With John Jaworski coming down all of the time to help with special events like the Conch Republic Independence celebration it was only a matter of time for these two island geniuses to come up with an idea that was destined to go beyond any Grand Bar Scheme.

John Jaworski and Frank Everhart AKA “The Key West Guys” (You may also know Frank from Frank’s Magic Bar at The Schooner Wharf) just finished an audition for the Travel Channels show “No Reservations”. Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations TV Show challenged people to do a 3 minute video on where they wanted him to film a one hour special. The Key West guys rose to the occasion over the last week and created a fun invitation to the Conch Republic.

The Video is in and getting high ratings but now they need your help! They based their three minutes on getting attention away from ”T-Shirt Alley” and promoted the idea of seeing the Key West that most people miss on their vacations. The Key West Guys pitched Anthony Bourdain to come down and film some of the things that make our island unique. They got footage and interviews covering our great island cuisine that people like Chef Warren of Jamaican me Hungry and Fran Gonzon of Salute have captured so well. From Mel Fisher’s treasures to new businesses like Pirate Soul the Key West Guys traversed the island in search of all that is Key West.

Help the Key West Guys convince Bourdain and The Travel Channel that Key West is THE destination to create a show! Locals and Tourists and friends of Key West can help by going to the travel channel website, choosing the Key West guys video and voting 5 stars for it. If he says yes The Key West Guys will make sure that he captures the magic of our island, the stuff so many travel shows miss!
